Thilan has been a GP in Newark & Sherwood since August 2008.

He is a GP Partner at Abbey Medical Group and has previously been a GP Partner at Lombard Medical Centre and Sherwood Medical Partnership. Being a GP in the locality has given him a wealth of experience working in partnership with patients, various service providers, Trusts and fellow GP colleagues. This has enabled him to understand the needs of the local community and the challenges facing primary care services. He is also a GP Trainer with the Sherwood Forest General Practice Speciality Training Programme.

Dr Bartholomeuz has been fortunate to work closely with the ICB, first in his capacity as the Clinical Lead for Cancer since October 2012, as a Macmillan GP since September 2013 and the Clinical Chair since November 2016. Being a Macmillan GP has allowed him to work with various service providers and organisations in reviewing, redesigning or developing cancer pathways to address the needs of patients in mid-Nottinghamshire. We are one of the few pioneers in integrating cancer as a long-term condition and developing novel pathways to enable cancer care closer to home. Thilan also chairs the ICS Cancer Board, thus developing close relationships and networks with health and social care providers and commissioners across Nottinghamshire.

Theresa works as part of a wider team across Ashfield.

Theresa was appointed as Chief Executive Officer at Ashfield District Council in August 2021 and has worked in Local Government within Nottinghamshire for over Thirty-Five years and employed at Ashfield District Council since 2006.

Previously, Theresa held the post of Director of Place and Communities. Theresa has a successful track record of modernising and integrating services and delivering economic, health and social improvements for residents. Theresa’s focus is working in some of our most deprived neighbourhoods, ensuring that all residents have the same opportunities to achieve their goals and lead happy and healthy lives.

Economic growth is a key priority in unlocking Ashfield’s economic potential. Skills and aspiration are also key priorities for Ashfield and a focus on the internal culture of the Council is matched by a focus on working with local partners to promote positive change.

Ashfield District Council has progressed rapidly in the last four years and is on a positive trajectory. Over the next five years, the district of Ashfield will see unprecedented levels of investment in everything from leisure transformation, and town centre regeneration programmes to new homes, better infrastructure and state-of-the-art training and education facilities.

Mariam was appointed to the role of Strategic Director at Mansfield District Council in April 2019 and is the lead for Health and Health and Well-being, Place, People and Transformation.

Mariam has worked at the Council since 2007, in a number of roles with a particular focus on Human Resources, Organisational Development and Change Management.

Previously she worked at Leicester City Council and spent her early career in the private sector.

Victoria is the Locality Director for Bassetlaw Place Based Partnership and the Interim Locality Director for Mid Notts Place Based Partnership.

Victoria is the Locality Director for Bassetlaw Place-Based Partnership and the Interim Locality Director for Mid Notts Place-Based Partnership.

She is passionate about addressing the wider determinants of health and wellbeing and reducing health inequalities.

By working with dedicated and talented colleagues at the Place and ICB levels, she hopes to play a role in galvanising our collective commitment to achieving improved health and wellbeing outcomes.

Victoria has a wealth of experience working in the health and wellbeing sector, most recently at Bassetlaw CCG where she was Deputy Chief Officer, and before that Executive Lead for Primary Care.

She is focused on working collaboratively to break down historic barriers to working together across health, care and voluntary sectors, to provide effective services that better enable the people of Nottinghamshire to live healthier, happier lives.

Leanne is the Deputy Locality Director for Mid Notts , Notts and Nottinghamshire ICB and Interim Programme Director for the Mid Notts Place Based Partnership.

Leanne has a wealth of successful public sector experience, in local government and in the NHS at the Director level.

Leanne is a housing professional as a Corporate Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and is also a Non-Executive Director for a Registered Housing Provider in the East Midlands.

Leanne is passionate about improving health and wellbeing outcomes to enable people and places in Mid Notts to thrive. Leanne also lives and has family living in Mid Nottinghamshire.

David has a clinical background as a nurse practitioner before moving into senior management

During his career, David has studied at Harvard University; visited India to better understand global health and represented nationally on working groups focused on urgent and emergency care and the nursing agenda. His passion is making a positive difference to the health outcomes of the local population he serves.

David’s particular interests are in mental health and groups who are traditionally under represented or marginalised. He was previously the mid-Nottinghamshire Locality Director.

Karen has worked as a GP for 20 years. She has worked at Collingham Medical Practice for over 10 years and has also been Co-Clinical Director for Newark PCN for 3 years.

Madeleine is the Chief Officer of Newark & Sherwood CVS.

Following a short career in Social Services, Madeleine joined the Voluntary sector in 1984 and has worked predominantly in health and social care supporting communities across Derbyshire, Yorkshire, and Nottinghamshire.

A strong and passionate advocate of the voluntary sector Madeleine believes that the sector plays a vital role in improving the lives of residents and that collaborative working across all sectors is the most effective way to achieve the best outcomes for individuals and communities. Madeleine is looking forward to working with a wide range of partners on Mid Nott’s PBP to improve the health and social care needs of those living in the area.

Madeleine loves being outdoors and is a keen runner and wild swimmer.

The purpose of my role is to ensure that as an organisation we are effectively supporting the voluntary and community sector in Mansfield and District.

It is also my role to make sure that everything we do, aligns with MCVS’s Strategic Plan, as this is where we can bring about a positive change to the community we serve.

Mansfield CVS is an infrastructure organisation. This means that we provide a support framework so that local organisations can then support the community.

We do this through eight themes; Comms & Marketing, CommunityEngagement & Development, Governance, Insight & Intelligence, Volunteering, Training, Networking and Sustainability
