Our Strategic Analytics Intelligence Unit (SAIU) has been featured in a video showcasing how the unit identifies high risk populations and future health needs.
The ITN video, presented by Alice Beer, shows how the team builds a detailed picture of the health needs of our populations to provide the right services.
The video features case studies, including the covid vaccine programme and fuel poverty work, to show how the data can be used to get support to the most vulnerable communities.
The unit interprets data from the NHS, local authorities and other public bodies, which provides a good picture of levels of deprivation, quality of housing, health outcomes, age and conditions. The SAIU team have created a portal where data is available for people working across the Integrated Care System.
