Welcome to our Research and Innovation Hub.

The purpose of the Research and Innovation Hub is to bring together colleagues from across Nottingham & Nottinghamshire to promote research and innovation across our Integrated Care System. We want to optimise the opportunities to work together to drive, develop and improve research and the use of research evidence to benefit our population.  

Research is essential in providing the evidence needed to continually improve population health and wellbeing, provide high quality joined up services, reduce health inequalities and contribute to a net zero health and care system. From the improvement of clinical and care practice and the wellbeing of the workforce, to reducing the cost of health and care, research offers enormous opportunities for solutions to today’s challenges.  

Together we have developed our research strategy for Nottingham and Nottinghamshire which sets out our vision, ambition and priorities for research.
