Retford Healthy Sunday!

The sun shone on a glorious day for Retford Health Sunday – an event which brought together health and wellbeing providers from across Bassetlaw.

The event, which took place in the town’s Market Square, gave people the chance to visit the NHS Health Bus and have their BMI and bloody pressure checked.

There was also the Mayor’s Marathon Challenge and Bassetlaw Action Centre’s walks for men and women.

Retford Tennis club ran soft ball and walking tennis sessions and visitors got the chance to enjoy demonstrations from Staples Dance Academy and LCSD Dance Academy.

We had free sun cream to ensure everybody stayed as safe as possible in the heat. A fantastic day!
