Opportunities for research collaboration
ICS Research Pipeline Group
We support the development of research that meets the ICS priorities and challenges. Find out more on Our research page of the hub.
Our purpose is to:
- support and facilitate the collaborative development of research proposals that meet ICS key priorities and challenges, require multiple ICS organisations to be involved and align to major funding calls.
- help researchers connect with others in the ICS. For example you might need help with making new connections in organisations you have not worked with before, signposting to infrastructure/resources or advice on the ‘fit’ of your idea with ICS priorities.
We are a group of NHS R&D Leads, Public Health Consultants, University Directors of Research and Research Strategy Managers. We have excellent links into all the health and care organisations in the ICS and both of Nottingham’s universities. We are not replacing any existing research groups, networks or partnerships but aim to fill an identified gap.
If you have a research proposal that you would like the group to support you with please complete this form Research Pipeline Project Development Form
For all other enquiries connect with us by email nnicb-nn.research-evidence@nhs.net.
Get involved – for the public, communities and patients
There are different ways to get involved in health and care research. You can take part in a research study as a participant or get involved and share your lived experience to help shape future research. There are different types of research including clinical trials, completing questionnaires and taking part in interviews or focus groups.
Your health or social care practitioner may contact you to tell you about a research study that is suitable for you. It is your choice whether you agree to take part. You can also ask about research, and whether it might be right for you.
